Catholic Life

It is our strongest belief at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School that faith and education go hand-in-hand when it comes to forming a person of unshakable values. That is why in addition to teaching academic subjects, we encourage our pupils to participate in activities that focus on self-reflection and faith-building.

These include daily prayer, liturgy, collective worship opportunities, and many more. Community worship is the cornerstone of Catholic life. It is the best way to remember that we walk this life together with the Catholic faith. Hope and love as building blocks of our community come together during the collective worship activities we organize with our beloved members of the Brent Catholic parish.

In addition to teaching our students the facts of the Catholic faith, we believe that it is our duty to help the children experience Catholic life itself. At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, we manage the do that by celebrating Mass on the Holy Days of Obligation together. We never miss marking the important events in our school’s life and follow all main events in the Church Calendar as well. Faith, love, and hope never seize to permeate these celebrations, and we manage to clearly identify our School as a Catholic one before the local community and the world.
